Compulsory Liability Insurance
  • State financial responsibility laws require all registered vehicles have liability insurance to compensate any parties damaged by your vehicle. Coverages include: 

    • Bodily Injury to Others

    • Damage to Someone Else's Property

  • In Montana, the minimum requirements are: 

    •   $25,000 for Bodily Injury per person

    •   $50,000 total for Bodily Injury

    •   $20,000 for Property Damage (increased from $10,000 effective 1/1/2016)
